day 1

ARRIVAL AT THE HOTEL AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO KNOW THE PLACE

Arrival to the destination town, Deltebre or Poblenou del Delta, depending on the hotel you have chosen. We recommend that you stay at the hotel and once installed, make an expedition to know the village where you will rest during your stay. NJOY CATALONIA will provide you with a guide with information about the area and recommendations of interesting places to visit. We must remember that we are in a natural place of exceptional beauty and where there is much to discover.

day 2

COMBINED ROUTE BIKE + KAIAK

The Ebro Delta, with an area of about 300 km2, is the largest aquatic habitat in Catalonia. Constituted Natural Park since 1983, it offers a good number of different environments that facilitate the coexistence of a very diverse fauna and flora that are part of its natural landscape. We encourage you to visit it through this activity and to get to know this great biological diversity from within.

The activity includes shovel, life jacket, roadside assistance, expert advice and liability insurance. At the meeting point, where the activity will begin, you can rent a watertight boat in case you need a dry space to deposit personal items.

In order to carry out the activity in comfort, it is recommended to use clothes and shoes that can get wet, sun cream, insect repellent, spare clothes and a towel. It is necessary to provide water or some type of natural drink to be able to hydrate the body during the activity. The responsibility for personal effects is solely the client's and during the activity only the material detailed above will be allowed.

day 3

TRADITIONAL ACTIVITIES AND DISCOVERY OF THE ENVIRONMENT

Discover the ancient survival techniques of the Ebro Delta, those used by our previous generations in a world where there was no oil.

This experience will introduce you to the culture of the peasant in this area through various original activities of the time, such as demonstrations of traditional fishing, different workshops on rice production and cultivation, and also some popular games. Through these activities you will learn how to feed yourself and the basic knowledge of survival that our ancestors had. Depending on the season, it will also be possible to go barefoot in a rice field and enjoy the benefits of the mud of the Ebro Delta.

Next, we suggest you visit the Ebro Delta by vehicle to discover the different ecosystems that comprise it, its geology, its ornithological wealth, its towns and its people.
