Arrival in the Ebro Delta.
The Ebro Delta is a natural wonder located on the northeast coast of Spain, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. It is one of the largest river deltas in Europe and was formed over the centuries by the accumulation of sediments transported by the Ebro River.
With an area of approximately 320 km², the Ebro Delta is home to a great diversity of habitats, ranging from extensive sandy beaches to lagoons, marshes and rice fields. These diverse ecosystems provide refuge to a wide variety of bird, fish and mammal species, making it an important sanctuary for wildlife.

Today we leave the Ebro Delta and the sea, to discover the inland areas of the Ebro Lands. We suggest you to visit Tortosa, the bi-millennial capital of the Ebro Lands. With a rich history dating back to Roman times, Tortosa is a place full of charm and tradition. The city is located in a privileged environment, surrounded by the Ebro River and the massif known as “Els Ports”. Its cobbled streets and well-preserved old town will take you back in time, while its cozy squares and historic buildings will captivate you with their beauty. We offer you a guided tour that will take you to know the city through the still visible imprint of the three cultures that coexisted in a relatively peaceful coexistence in the city and that marked its development for centuries: the Saracen, the Jewish and the Christian. During the tour, you will taste three tapas or dishes, one for each culture, accompanied by a drink in an unbeatable setting: the Zuda Castle.
